Once the 2010 mid-terms are finished, attention will swing to the 2012 Presidential election cycle. In particular, it will switch to the Republican primaries. (We’ve announced President Forever 2012 here.) So, who does the Democratic National Committee think are the top suspects? Here is a clue (from ABC News via Race42008.com):

The Democratic National Committee formally has asked the Pentagon for reams of correspondence between military agencies and nine potential Republican presidential candidates

[...]

The nine Republicans that Democrats are seeking information on are former Gov. Sarah Palin, R-Alaska; former Gov. Mitt Romney, R-Mass.; Gov. Haley Barbour, R-Miss.; Gov. Tim Pawlenty, R-Minn.; former Gov. Mike Huckabee, R-Ark.; former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, R-Ga.; Sen. John Thune, R-S.D.; Gov. Mitch Daniels, R-Ind.; Gov. Bobby Jindal, R-La.

One interesting thing is that the field is crowded with Governors. The only Senator is John Thune. (Gingrich was previously a Congressman.)

“I would highly recommend the game [...] to anyone interested in learning about election politics and becoming more politically active and aware.”

“C4E makes following the congressional elections a lot of fun and translates campaign politics’ dreary details into a relevant format I can easily understand. Moreover, the whole PU30 crew are quite delighted with C4E, and it’s doubtless only our unfailing professionalism that prevents us from playing C4E at all hours of the day.
