Each Political Unit has its own issue centers and issue profiles. An issue center is where the political center is for that issue in that Political Unit at the beginning of the campaign. An issue profile is how important that issue is in that Political Unit at the beginning of the campaign.
Regions
Select a Political Unit in the list to modify its issue centers and issue profiles. You can select multiple Political Units by holding down the Ctrl key while clicking on additional Political Units in the list.
- Select All: Selects all the Political Units in the list.
Note: Any changes made are made to all the Political Units selected in the list.
Issue Profiles
This sets the issue profiles.
- Primaries Profile: The initial profile for this issue if the user selects Primaries.
- General Profile: The initial profile for this issue if the user does not select Primaries.
Issue Centers
Issue centers can be modified by clicking on the crossbar on the meters, and then dragging to one side or the other, or clicking, and then pressing the left or right arrow keys.
If an issue position description is cut off, you can hover the mouse icon over the description for a full description.
