Party Information - Basic
- Name: The party’s name.
- Funds: The funds a party will have for spending in the general election. If funds is greater than the block grant, player gets the funds amount.
- Established: How well established the party is at the national level.
- Abbreviation: The abbreviation for the party.
- Block Grant: The block grant for the general election that his party’s candidate receives. If a candidate starts in and wins their party’s primaries, they receive these funds after the party’s convention.
- Fundraising Coefficient: This coefficient modifies the amount of background fundraising candidates from this party raise. For example, a value of 2 would double the typical amount, a value of 0.5 would half it.
Party Convention
- Start Date: The day when the party’s convention begins.
- End Date: The day when the party’s convention ends.
- Nomination Date: The day when the candidate is actually nominated at the convention. Should be within the Start Date and End Date.
- Location: The Political Unit the party convention is in.
- City: The city the party convention is in.
Party Image and Color
- Change (Party Image): The party image. To load a new image, click ‘Change’. The image will automatically be resized to 101 x 101 if it is not already that size. The image must be a bitmap. You can save and create images as bitmaps in Windows Paint, among other graphics programs.
- Change (Party Color): Click to change the party’s color. This is the color used when displaying this party’s information on the main screen, and the color that the candidate who wins the primaries from this party.
Ad Credits
Use the > button to add ad types that a candidate can immediately create at the beginning of a campaign, or the < button to remove an ad type that can by created immediately.
- Credits: The number of ads of this type a candidate can immediately create at the beginning of a campaign.
Percentages
Displays the Edit Regional Percentages dialog box.
Platform
Displays the Set Party Platforms dialog box.
Debates
Displays the Edit Party Debates dialog box.
Region Info
Displays the Party’s Regional Information dialog box.
Candidates
Displays the Edit Party’s Candidates dialog box.
On By Default
Specifies whether the party is turned on by default when a new game is started.
Incumbent Party
Specifies whether the party is the incumbent party (that is, at the beginning of the campaign, the current President is from this party).
PAC Advertising
Specifiues whether there is PAC advertising for this party. Requires that PAC advertising by turned on in Step 1.
