Does the number of headlines in “All headlines for this simple event so far” effect the simple event in any more lasting way than just creating more variety for headlines?
I have this feeling that if I have 5 different headlines in one simple event it will have more influence than a simple event where I only have 1 headline.
Also, do the impacts of headlines decrease over time and make issues drift towards not important? By that I mean, if I have simple events for a lot of different issues, am I likely to have tons of purple/high profile issues by election day or will some of them drop in importance as the campaign wears on??
Also, is there some way of reducing the over occurrence of ALL simple events? Should I just make a simple event for every issue so that the increases are not as concentrated and diffused among many issues (thus a bit more random?) or am I destined to have a ton of purple/high profile issues by election day?
The number of headlines you have for a simple event issue will not increase the chance that it occurs, just give variety to the headlines.
Issue profiles naturally decrease over time, so if no one is campaigning on that issue and there are no events that increase its profile, eventually the profile will reduce.
There is currently no way to change the chance that a simple event occurs.
