Foot soldiers (FSs) are created in a given state. Usually, a FS takes 5 days at 1 CP/day. However, if you have a positive momentum in a state (say, +1), then this acts as an extra CP towards FS creation. So, instead of taking 5 days to create, a FS will only take 3 days to create (1 actual CP/day you are putting in, and 1 momentum/day, for 3 turns). +4 momentum would mean it would only take 1 day to create a FS (1 actual CP/day, and 4 momenta/day, for 2 days).
To create footsoldiers
- In the national map, click a state.
- Click “Footsoldier”.
- In the Foot Soldiers dialog box, click “Create”.
- Close the dialog box.
- To create foot soldiers in another state, repeat steps 1 through 4.
- To view where you are creating foot soldiers, change the map to Foot Soldier viewing mode.
- To halt foot soldier creation, click the state in which foot soldiers are being created, click “FootSoldier”, and click “Create” to toggle it off.
Footsoldiers cost money to maintain, and the cost is displayed next to the footsoldier once it is created. Footsoldiers can also be switched into a fundraising mode, where they don’t cost money to maintain, and instead raise funds for your campaign.
