When you research an issue, there are two possibilities:
- If you select an issue attribute (Leadership, Integrity, Experience, or Issue Familiarity), you will start researching a scandal (and so can only research an opponent).
- If you select one of the other issues, you will start researching an insight. Once you have completed the insight, you can use it in a speech or an ad, and it will enhance the success of the speech or ad.
To perform research
- From the main screen, click “Research”.
- In the Research dialog box click “Research”, select the research focus and click “OK”.
- To cancel the research, after you are researching an issue, click “Research” from the Research dialog box.
