The Prediction Tool screen enables you to change the percentages currently in the game to test hypothetical scenarios. What would happen if Clinton went up 2% nationally? What if Frist rose 5% in the south? Changing the percentages does not change the percentages in the game, and once you close the Prediction Tool window the hypothetical percentages will not be kept.
To change percentages, modify the numbers on the bottom right. To apply the percentages to the Prediction Tool, the percentages must add up to 100%. Once they do, click ‘Commit’ to apply the percentages to the Prediction Tool. Again, this won’t change the percentages in the actual game.
If you click the Toggle Primaries button, this will allow you to change percentages for the primaries instead of the the general election. If you click this button, any percentage changes you have made for the other mode will not be kept.
